What is personal data and what does it mean to process it?

Personal data is information that can identify a person. Examples of personal information are your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. Your personal data is used by authorized personnel at Brigo and in some cases by our personal data assistants. We do not disclose information if we do not have to due to requirements in other laws and regulations, government decisions or to protect our rights or the rights of third parties.

Where is my personal information stored?

We strive to only handle your personal data within the EU / EEA. In the event that we use services or products that mean that your information is taken outside the EU / EEA, this is done only to be able to fulfill our obligations to you. In cases where this becomes relevant, we ensure that the handling of your data is done with an adequate level of protection.

How long do we store your information?

We do not store your information longer than is necessary to be able to fulfill our commitment to you or to meet requirements in other laws and regulations, such as the Accounting Act.

We sort out information no later than after three years if it is not covered by the Accounting Act, which requires us to save information for seven years. Video surveillance material is stored for 72 hours.

How does Brigo protect your data?

We conduct continuous security work to protect our information systems. Therefore, we take all appropriate measures, both technical and organizational, that we find necessary to protect your personal data.

For example, we use SSL to encrypt the web traffic on our portals and your password that you entered on our portals is never saved in clear text and can not be read by us or anyone else.
